In a momentous step towards strengthening regional scientific collaboration, representatives of National Young Academies (NYAs) and early-career scientific organizations from across the Asia-Pacific region came together at IIT Hyderabad, India, following the Global Young Academy (GYA) Annual Conference 2025, to chart a visionary course forward. 🌟

📜 The highlight of this gathering was the signing of a landmark Declaration, officially launching the Network of Asia-Pacific Young Academies (NAYA) – a unified platform to:

✅ Foster regional cooperation among young scientific leaders
✅ Promote science-informed policymaking and sustainability
✅ Amplify the voice of early-career researchers on global challenges
✅ Share best practices and design impactful joint initiatives

This initiative was made possible through the collaborative efforts of INYAS, GYA, INSA, and with participation from NYAs across the region. The formation of NAYA marks the beginning of a new era of structured collaboration, shared vision, and empowered youth-led science diplomacy in the Asia-Pacific.
