CALL FOR ARTICLES for INYAS’s Fifth Special Issue of Proceedings of the Indian National Science Academy
INYAS announces a new special issue on ‘Emerging Trends in Scientific Research – India-Centric Perspectives’.
India, now recognized as the world’s fourth-largest economy, holds immense potential to continue its legacy of significant contributions to science and technology in the 21st century. Considering this, there is a pressing need to explore emerging trends in science and technology from an India-centric perspective. Furthermore, the Government of India’s visionary initiative, “Viksit Bharat @ 2047,” aligns with and motivates the vision of this special issue, which aims to highlight scientific and technological advancements driving India’s comprehensive growth and future prosperity.
The forthcoming INYAS special issue will focus on publications that reflect India’s distinctive and recent contributions to the global research and development arena. Researchers from all disciplines are invited to contribute articles that enhance scientific knowledge within the Indian context or significantly advance India’s role in global science. Additionally, the issue aims to feature invited articles by distinguished experts whose impactful work continues to place India prominently on the global scientific stage.
Scope:
We invite submissions of review and perspective articles, research tutorials, case studies, policy analyses, and original research papers, particularly those offering insights that are India-centric. While our primary focus is on the following topics, contributions beyond these areas are also welcome:
- Physics,
- Chemical sciences
- Earth and planetary sciences,
- Engineering & technology
- Material sciences & engineering,
- Plant sciences
- Animal sciences
- Microbiology and immunology
- Cell and bio-molecular sciences
- Health sciences
- Agricultural sciences
- Computational and interdisciplinary areas
Guidelines for the authors:
Authors are requested to prepare their articles as per the prescribed guidelines (see “Guidelines to Authors”) of PINSA and submit the articles through the web portal for article submissions for PINSA (https://link.springer.com/journal/43538). This special issue will follow the standard process of publication of articles in PINSA.
