Dr. Gajendra Pratap Singh from University’s School of Computational and Integrative Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru New Delhi was expert during this programme. This training program primarily focused on applications of computational Vedic mathematics and ancient Indian mathematics. Dr. Singh began by introducing famous ancient Indian mathematicians and providing a brief overview of their contributions. He then covered the life story of Swami Bharti Krishna Tirtha ji and the application of the Sixteen Vedic Sutra in algebra, geometry, and trigonometry. He discussed the work of Acharya Piṅgala (Binary number system and Meru Prastara), Ramanujan’s biography, and other noteworthy works, with an emphasis on ancient knowledge systems.
