About the newsletter
The Indian National Young Academy of Science (INYAS) came into existence in December 2014, as an initiative of the Indian National Science Academy (INSA), New Delhi. Its first 20 members were chosen from recipients of the INSA Young Scientist Medal. INYAS aims to encourage the free exchange of ideas among young scientists — part of a worldwide movement of national young academies connecting early-career researchers that began with Die Junge Akademie in 2000.
