Dr. Upasana Ray, Sr. Scientist, IICB, Kolkata has been awarded prestigious SERB-POWER Fellowship 2021.
Dr. Atul Dixit (Astt. Professor, IIT Gandhinagar) become the first Indian mathematician to win the prestigious Gábor Szegö Prize 2021 awarded by the Society of Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM), USA.
Dr. Sonu Gandhi (NIAB, Hyderabad) and Dr. Ritu Gupta (IIT Jodhpur) received SERB Women Excellence Award 2021.
Dr. Gitanjali Yadav becomes the third Indian to be awarded the prestigious SASTRA–Obaid Siddiqi Award for excellence in Life Sciences. The prize is given by the Shanmugha Arts, Science, Technology & Research Academy (SASTRA) University in Thanjavur, India, as a tribute to Professor Obaid Siddiqi, a pioneering molecular biologist, outstanding mentor and founder of the Molecular Biology Unit of the Tata Institute for Fundamental Research.
Dr. Upasana Ray, virologist from CSIR-IICB, Kolkata invited as panel expert in a live show with Barkha Dutt along with another expert, Dr. Shahid Jameel on the topic, “Covishield Approval, Vaccine Dry Run & the UK Mutant Strain | Where does India stand?”
